They have the parts for the H006 model. I need to see the numbers for the H012 gun I am interested in,, I reality,, I need to talk to a gunsmith familiar with the Henry line. Does the trigger guard and lever interchange between the H012 (44 mag) and H010 (45-70)? If so they have a 45-70 with pistol grip and lever in color case hardened.
The browning BLR 22 is likely the best lever in 22lr. However, the henry is pretty good, likely just as good as a marlin 39. The action is very smooth. The trigger is nice too. The only annoying thing about it is spare parts. Seems Henry is not giving out spares. Many rifles rarely need repairs, but it's always wise to have parts around.Part of that feel came from the fact that the lever rested tightly against the wood, while the Henry's lever stood off a quarter inch from contacting the wood. The grip of the Winchester measured 5.75 inches, and the fore end girth was 4.75 inches.
