That's pretty much the best and most efficient method to rune farm (Albinaurics) especially if you can get you're hands on the Sacred Relic Sword, it's weapon art is an insanely wide AoE attack that can just wipe out the whole field of Albinaurics within like 5-10 seconds.

You could shoot the bird too for 11k. Radahn swords. just hit them with your weapon. AoE spells work fine. Blasphemous blade, starscourge great sword, ruins great sword all work effectively.
