No real problems for me on either. 2008 1600 Vulcan Classic. 2003 1500 Vulcan Classic. 2014 suzuki c50 boss edition.Some of the older 1500's had a problem with bent shift forks, but it would probably be jumping out of gear if that was the case. The positive neutral finder on the Vulcans make the 1-2 shift a little clunky, that's more likely what it is. You have to shift with authority, don't granny shift it.
