Meso gear or at least legion is a pretty big part of non-reboot farming and frenzy even more so. Keep in mind meso bags in regular server are 1/6 that of reboot. The gap closes a bit with 2x drop cash coupon but of course that's an added expense. I'm not sure where you're getting 300m an hour, though.

If you're starting a shadower from fresh I would say, it would be pointless to get meso gear so early on. An alternative would be to get your kanna to 200 for 5th job skills and farm at maps like Fes2, BTC and eventually Chu Chu. Again, you would still need to cube for some damage gear on your kanna to 1 shot if you plan to do this.
