I am wondering what the problem could be. 2 years ago the same thing happened. I took it in and they replaced the valve cover and and a few other things for $400.00. Mechanic replaced coolant tank and cap and added coolant (code said vacuum issue)...still overheating...then replaced thermostat. The car still reaches overheat after running a while.
