When I got my 30S I posted a side by side size comparison (dunno if it was in this forum or another) with the 30s with the 9rd mag and the 10rd mag compared to my G26 and G19. The difference with the 9rd mag is incredible. It's only roughly 3cm taller than the G26 (eyeing it not actually measured).

I bought the G30SF when my G30Gen4 developed a mag and mag catch problem. On my Gen4, I've had two mag catches and springs replaced due to excessive wear of the catch and the notches in the mags. Mags would fall out upon firing the gun. I have a non rail 30, a 30SF rail tenifer, a gen 4 fpf 30, and 2 30SF's one fpf model. The 30S has quite a bit more recoil than a 30 model, and a supurb broken in glock trigger. But my 30S is still quite accurate.
