Dobermans are not genetically prone to ear infections, they do not suffer from ear infections any more or less than other floppy-eared dogs nor does cropping protect from ear infections. Cropping between 7weeks and 12 usually is ideal so for that clinic to say it starts at 12weeks sounds off to me as well. If Tully didn't want to do crops till after 12 weeks definately make sure the pup is 12 weeks and not much beyond that age. I wonder why its pushed back that late too.
