Deflation has a strong legacy on campus: many to most departments curve only a bit better than deflation-era policy, and students are very aware of it. Maybe there are a few exceptions: the econ department, for instance, curves very aggressively. However, many intro-level classes (Physics, Math) still curve to a B or B+.I have heard of one professor making an A- a 91.5 instead of a 90, but that’s pretty much about it.
