The stock red ramp front sight on the new Python is about .045" taller than the front blade on the tritium front sight on my Night Cobra (also the blade on my new King Cobra). I'd like to have the tritium on the Python (prefer Night sights on most of my carry guns), but I wonder how much effective difference I'll see due to the height.

It's interesting that I have similar experience with groups shooting the King Cobra,and Pythons with 6 inch barrel as well as 4 in barrels in Colt model 357,Trooper,S&W model 66,and Ruger Security six.
