Model 25 (old style) magazine problem. i just purchased a new factory magazine for my Marlin 25. It's an '87 so it's a Model 25, not 25n. The mag arrived to day and appeared to be an exact duplicate of my original. However it refuses to lock into the receiver.

Numrich lists a 10 shot magazine to fit both. The original on model 56 was 7 shot I believe. I don't want to pay the guys price unless I have a magazine for it.
