Whatever type of spores you innoculate the jars with is what will grow (unless contamination happens, which most of us know only too well..) Also, you don't need a pressure cooker to follow PF's tek. If you're going to use coffee in pf tek, use weak liquid coffee to hydrate the rice flour. Coffee grinds are a bulk substrate material and great when used with coir, manure, compost, etc., but with grains they only dilute the mix. Brown rice flour is far more nutritious for mushroom mycelium than coffee grinds. RR.i crumble them and use as spawn to h-poo or coir in a mini mono tub. Your ratio dont have to be the exact same as in damions tek. Just try and shoot for a good ratio like 1:1 or 1:2 and get your sub depth at least 3 inches or more and before you know it and then.
