Right side of vw touch screen not working.

When I reboot the unit (10s hold on Power) it usually starts working, but most of the time the top right area of the touchscreen doesn't register presses, while other areas of the screen work. It was getting worse and worse and now it's almost never working as it should. I get either a partially responsive screen or a totally unresponsive screen.HeadUnit is a Compositon Media, Discover Media (PQ) Infotainment system - part number : 5C0035680E. I think the screen digitizer is goosed and appears to only affect the top right corner of touchscreen - rest of screen appears to behave normally to touch.
