Maybe you could get it and if you dislike it, just unsocket it. The class gem for the gunslinger is the only reason why people use the gunslinger. It's insane bursts of massive damage is the reason he's arguably the best class for st and lev. Without it's class gem, everyone would use ice sage instead.
