The back (inside) of the wheel has the large center bore hole for a hub-centric fit, but most of the recent alloy wheels have a much smaller hole on the front (outside) face of the wheel for the Ford logo cap. In order to use an alloy wheel for the spare, it would have to have the same size opening on the front and the back.

Maybe a more powerful one than I have will, but it would probably be faster to crank it up. It's a good handle actually.

Personally, it's not hard to lower it and air it up, it just takes a while to unscrew the bolts that hold the box that carries the tools you need to do it, and box all that crap back up to put it back. 5 sec to top off the air, 15 minutes to pull out the box and put it back. Lol. PITA!
