Tradovate here, very good for order execution, but I don’t like their charts. And ffs I wish they’d make the cursor crosshairs disappear when the cursor leaves the chart. But I also have a hundred bucks in a TDA account so I can use ToS for charting, plus I can use their free version of Bookmap for a better DOM for ES and MES.

I use tradestation on my windows (on my mac) which works pretty well for my needs. It's good right out of the box, lots of different commodities and currency futures for reasonable margin. $3-4k will be enough for a couple micro/ commodity contacts. I wouldn't recommend ninjatrader. Really outdated and the whole "lifetime license" is nonsense.
