Hello all, Have a problem with my 4020. This past summer - if the tractor sat for more than 2-3 days...it wouldnt start. At the time - was a 24v system. 1st thing I did was replace the battery's - 2 brand new JD 12v's. Seemed to help for awhile - but not long and was back to not starting if sat for more than a few days.

All cracked/popped adequately, however, 2 of the injectors test pattern was not real good if pressure was added slowly so I replaced them. This did not cure the miss.

Most of the time it is extremely slow to raise the 3pt and cylinders (up to a couple minutes) , occasionally it will work fine. The steering and brakes seem to work ok. Reasonably new starter, new batteries 550 cca, new cable clamps. Had a mech. look at it, and came down to ground strap corrosion. Installed new ground strap, (24v pos. ground system) connected right to diff bolt, after filing to clean metal.
