I've got a second that's identical to the new one aside from it having a couple Wilson Combat parts and being a part of a dedicated hunting rig.

I bought a Kimber Custom recently. It's a full length 9mm. I've put roughly 50 to 100 rounds of Winchester white box through it and I've experienced multiple failures to extract the spent casing. The malfunctions require the removal of the magazine to be cleared as the gun attempts to feed the next round in behind the unextracted casing.Remove the extractor. Remove the firing pin if you want to be extra cautious. Seat a fully loaded magazine. Depress the slide stop to allow the slide to move forward at full speed. If the cartridge chambers and the pistol goes fully into battery then the extractor is, in fact, causing the feeding malfunction.

The only thing missing for me was a rail, and the TLE/RL II has taken care of that. This RL II starts with a steel frame with a high cut front strap and 30-lpi checkering. The trigger is an aluminum, match-grade, standard-length trigger set to 4.5 pounds. As a Custom II pistol, it uses a firing-pin safety.
