Well whoa Nelly! Something I am missing in my racks is an actual A Grade Lefever to check fit on. I just pulled a flat side Nitro Special forend off of a 16 ga gun ser# 160xxx, mfg 1924. It fits the new style NS and Western Arms also. On page 105 of Walter's book, 2nd edition, the A Grade Model 5 is shown with a snap forend with Baker-style latch.
