I really hate these OTA updates. Back in the days when you buy your fridge, it works the same the 1st day you bought it vs. 10 years later. Now, with these OTA updates, every release they fix something and break something else, and there's no way to roll back to the previous firmware. Let's see what else they broke this time.
Fast fwd to last week i see another firmware update via the app and start the process of updating when i got home around 7:20pm. Check the app at 9:40 still updating, so i go to bed and wake up to a solid red bar. To update, you should be present at the box to assure no cat activity. Make sure it’s at home position with a solid blue light. Open the app, tap the box in the screen, tap Contols at the bottom right, then tap Information. At the bottom of that screen, it should say Update Firmware. Tap it and wait a few minutes.

In the Whisker app, select your Litter-Robot 4 unit from the dashboard. Tap on Controls in the bottom right corner. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap the Information panel.
