Drop rates being around 25% for Legend and around 33% for Master means I have a decent chance of getting the new exotic in 15 minutes or so, even with terrible luck it takes an hour or so tops.

If it takes you 3 minutes to do legend and 8 to do master then master is not worth it. If it takes 4 minutes to do legend and 4:20 to do master then master is better. Master lost sectors do have a higher drop rate, but because legend can be run much faster it works out to be faster to farm legend instead of master. Heck, I have received only Glimmer 9 times. As someone else mentioned, there has been a fair bit of testing around this. Seems around 25% for legend and 30-35% for master. You're much better off doing legend sectors. The extra time just isn't worth it. Strongly recommend Perdition, Chamber of Starlight, and Aphelion's Rest if you're experienced and want to speed run.
