There is play in the stick while in 4th gear left to right. So if you don't move the stick right to take up the slack before leaving 4th you will often end up back in 3rd instead of 5th. My MGW was an improvement over the C6 shifter, it is very notchy, and direct/short, but it requires more effort than I would prefer, even with the anti-venom mod. I sometimes still have issue getting it into 2nd quickly when down shifting. I don't have many miles on the MGW, so maybe it will loosen up.
