(the range of varience on those for the S upgrades seems pretty narrow) The tells me that being adjacent to the pulse engine in the main inventory is giving me more of a bonus. If you load all the upgrade modules onto your ship, they take up a lot of room. I think there are 6 stats that have upgrade modules. If you put 3 of each in your tech, plus the base of each, that is 24 slots. Another 18 in your Cargo.
