Here is another build I am using in my current playthrough, as a custom companion. Tested in Veteran difficulty with upscaling, in Turn Based mode. I'd like some constructive feedback on what I can improve. I want to turn this into a proper build, since there are so few 5.0 Turn Based builds out there. Rogue/Ranger (Scout)

It seems worthy to do more dmg, and the acc penalty isn't really big, no problems to hit most of monsters in the game, and pick 2 types of dmg that make …Starting with bonuses in stealth, lore, and mechanics, this class is meant to toe the line between a rogue and a sorcerer. Rogues in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire are a melee class that has a heavy focus on Stealth and debuffing enemies. Rogues gain huge Damage bonuses when attacking Afflicted or Flanked enemies, and when striking from Stealth or Invisibility. They also have surprisingly good Defenses and can work in the tank role. A Chanter isn't anything like a hitman with just a base Accuracy of "Average" like a Paladin. Even worse with the two weapons penalty. Then again, Chanter's base Deflection is "High" but reducing it by -4 almost reduces it to the level of Druid/Paladin. Choose what the ♥♥♥♥ you want to do and build the stats accordingly. You probably need a well-designed tank to work a glass cannon rogue. Your rogue ideally shouldn't be taking damage. Use other classes such as fighters or paladins to engage the enemy, then flank them with your rogue.
