It is shanty town. If i recall well there is one normal house a lot of abandoned ones, and an abandoned building that looks like a Fire department. Also there is an abandoned bar and gas station. The normal house i am guessing is the town overseer's. I have a lot of map mods, but haven't explored all of them thoroughly yet. Little Township and Ed's Auto Salvage are a couple favourites. The former adds a cosy, tiny little town southeast of Fallas Lake. The latter adds not only a pretty cool house with a mechanic garage and junkyard, but a couple of other buildings nearby as well. I think such a drive takes about 6 hours in-game time, under 10 minutes IRL. The main highway through the map has some pileups, but you can either find another route, or go over the grass, but you may need to cut some trees.
