We are a group trying to decide on a cruise for Spring Break (March 16/17-23/24). We have narrowed it down to either Norwegian Joy out of Miami or Norwegian Epic out of Port Canaveral. Both have their pros and cons with the itinerary and dates, but they are honestly very close in price and itinerary.

But, the Escape Haven is just as nice. Both ships have Thermal Spa's, which we get every time. The Epic's does have the feature of an aft patio. But both have the other fun features that make the Thermal Suite special. We are on the Epic in December and have read that there is an Adults only Area called Spice/H20 - Great. On the Epic it says that it's Adult only till 8pm and then kids are let in after that.

You can feel slight vibration when pulling into port but not enough to stop us from booking an aft balcony. Upcoming cruise we booked a suite and I am so excited but I will miss those loungers …We want you to be comfortable on board, so public areas throughout all NCL ships are smoke free. The specialty restaurants and MDRs are all similar enough to every other NCL ship. Epic entertainment is meh…but that’s becoming more of the norm across NCL fleet. Epic casino is large with a nice variety of slots and tables. But, the Escape Haven is just as nice. Both ships have Thermal Spa's, which we get every time.
