Hey y’all, Greetings from SC, my daughter called me to say her 06/13 Kia Soul w/1.6 I use to be a Gm tech but not a whole lot of experience with Kia’s. So I went cleared the codes, on start up it’s a very rough idle and struggles to stay running. Instantaneously codes for o2 bank 1 sensor 1 and random misfire codes as well.Flashing check engine light telling you car has a serious misfire occurring. Shaking you are experiencing is the ignition is not firing the fuel air mixture in whatever cylinder. Get your car to a shop immediately and discontinue driving until it can be diagnosed as the misfire situation can ruin the cat in exhaust.Feb 28, 2019 · Hi all, I have a vibration issue with my 2011 Kia Soul Plus. My rig has over 8000 miles on it now and I only rarely have a slight "idle fluctuation". I would not call it a vibration as it is too smooth to be annoying. The surging you (OP) speak of, might be the transmission "shifting" up a gear, as you gently coast to a stop.
