The firmware update definitely broke something at the endpoint. If it's a DNS issue it would be some type of change made by the Whisker team in their configuration of the app and/or the firmware of the device. After posts saying the Litter Robot 4 wasn't safe, with the pinch detectors failing, I investigated and found the circumstances where it could happen.
