I'd say if you were continuously breeding, plan on putting at least 2 years into it to get a start. Most breeders have a problem with crossing, because some people doing this do not do the research, lose alot of viable genes, and sell the junk crosses to make money, and add those bad genes back into the Serama gene pool.
