Hate to say it but, you will find that the box is not original to that gun. Check for a serial number under the bottom section, written in white pen. That box is for a 7XXXX or higher. The 39-2 was produced between 1971-1982 and, according to the Supica/Nahas catalog, the last 39-2, serial number A747148, was shipped. from the factory on 15 Feb 1983. The Appendices B, Section 3 shows 39 serial numbers A655001- A745000 were made in 1981. The 141K562 is the serial number and it dates the gun to 1982. That was also the year that the Model 19-5 was introduced. As a dash five, it will lack the barrel pin and the counter-bored that appeared on all earlier variants of the Combat Magnum. A nickel plated Model 19-5 with 4" barrel would be a fairly popular item today.Very nice model 19. As to value, as was stated it can vary in different regions but $625 would be about the bottom line practically anywhere with a high end value of around $750.
