Your pistol is a WWII Walther PP 9mmk military issue. The Eagle/359 "Waffenamt" stamp was applied by Nazi Weapons Office inspectors assigned to the Walther factory. About 1800 of these pistols in the Serial# range of 198000P - 208000P were purchased for issue to the Army, Luftwaffe, and Waffen SS.K98s are not my area (yet!) so here are a few questions I had: 1. First off, on the receiver it has the usual 3 Waffenamts, in this case WaA 623, but to the lower left, it has a 77. Barrel is WaA623. Front sight and floorplate is WaA77.
