Rivian tailgate pad.
None of these thoughts are new. The pads don't fit very well and unless someone designs a Rivian specific one I don't think any pad will be that great. The tailgate is too thick and the middle tailgate panel interferes as shown in the pics above. The middle panel also makes installation more time consuming.

It doesn't look very padded along the top of the tailgate compared to various bike-company offerings (that don't fit well because of how fat the tailgate is). And even if it were, bikes don't hang well on the tailgate because of how fat it is. The distance between down tube and fork is not nearly enough for the bike to sit down properly.According to Rivian "This version of the R1T [Adventure Package] will have a manual liftgate."
