This is the 2nd Romeo 5 XDR now. I've had the 1st one for 6-7 months & it sold me. I really like being able to easily toggle from a dot to a dot with a eotech type circle around it (which I use 90% of the time). Who makes the right height mount for the XDR design is the trick. And I'm not sure the answer to that one unless you want a pretty high mount by using what would be a standard mount for any other micro dot.The most outstanding feature of the Sig Romeo 5 is the Motion Activated Illumination (MOTAC). It helps to extend the battery life of the scope. The Vortex Strikefire 2 has a 4 MOA laser. It has around 2,000 hours at minimum brightness. It also has night vision and better mounting. This makes it ideal for close range hunting.

Concerns about Sig Romeo 5XDR. The lens in the front of the optic appears to be really crooked. It’s deeply recessed on the left side and the right side popped up getting relatively close to the optic rim.
