Chevy malibu stalls when stopping.

My truck - 2004 CCSB GMC Canyon SLE (I5) 2WD. I've spent the last 2 1/2 years and several hundred dollars trying to solve the same problem. I first thought it was a fuel supply issue, then an ignition, I even looked into exhaust. The last had the biggest effect on the rough idle, poor fuel mileage and loss of power.Bulletin No.: PI0920.
