To me the standalone is better than the mod in a lot of aspects. The lack of any kind of updates to improve pvp is the only thing that's holding the standalone back from overtaking the mod. Thats coming from a mod player who started playing dayz in may of 12. On our server they are kinda stupid AI but the admin said if they made them any “smarter” they would head shot you on site every time.
