I don't think it was because you were previously using a scythe you weren't getting it to drop though. I was not using a scythe and the buggers weren't dropping it at all either. Apparently they just take very long to get but it's pretty much luck of the draw. Anyway good going and enjoy dual-wielding your grave scythes.
