Bungie locked an exotic weapon with very low drop rate behind an activity to boost its usage. Those things are not worth 100 runs, Bungie should up the drop rate because its not comparable to a raid exotic in the slightest.
Crag is a huge farming boost pet for Nation resources. Tainted core drop rate is not that low. Yesterday I completed the exotic glaive quest on my Warlock to get the Warlock exotic glaive. The other two are from Wellspring, but do I have to play on my hunter to get the hunter pattern, and similar for my Titan? Or can I keep playing my Warlock and they will drop either way? Please advise.You can get the benefit as if you shot a glaive by also consuming the weaver grenade as a strand warlock and having the suspended enemies blow up. So you can run a different exotic if you want but it won't fill up the glaive as fast. This is quite amazing with a demo glaive as you get your grenade back within a few kills.

The same as weapon drops in a Nightfall. You can do either difficulty, but drops are 'slightly' higher for Master. However as of last season, Master Wellsprings were not recommended because the slight increase in drop percentage was far outweighed by the fact that you could do like 5 regular Wellsprings in the same amount of time.

It's a rare drop but you only ever need 1, it's not like you need to get 3 patterns before you can craft the glaives. It took me about 30 runs to get mine. Just did this. Got my 2nd glaive after like 4 runs, got the 3rd after 50+ more. Drop rate is really low so be prepared to be there for a while. I don't think Master gives increased drop rate but either way running normal seems to be the more efficient farm.

It took me around 30-40 runs of wellspring before I acquired the two additional glaive patterns. You can acquire patterns for different classes other than what you're using. I acquired my Warlock and Titan glaive patterns while playing my hunter. Last season I ran at least 50-60 normal wellsprings and got nothing. Once I started doing master I got both patterns within 10ish runs. Not sure if this is just rng or not, but it does seem like a better chance with master. Yes. Confirmed by bungie.

For titan and hunter (logged into each one at the enclave) they just say "pattern not unlocked" but my warlock is able to craft his. The other ones drop from wellspring. You unlock the other patterns in Wellspring.they: - upped lost sector exotic drop rates - fixed nimbus bounty - fixed most disabled exotics - fixed legend stuff not counting toward guardian ranks - made it so you can't fail-spam commendations. ...
