Depends on your hotkeys. I like to call mine the "uhc duels hotkeys". (1, 5 and 6) and put boom boom sword in 1, healing (wand) in 5, and aotv in 6. Mage will be painful progression and takes a lot of coins. My advice is progress to F7 as berserker (maybe archer at later lvls) then switch to mage when you have hyperion. Without a hyperion you will not get parties on F7 or above. For outside dungeons aurora gear (mage gear from crimson isles) is cheap to startup.

Tank-Healer: Basically a pure Healer because you go for max ehp and in turn max healing (% of health healing). Basically unkillable. Mage-Healer: Just gets some tanky gear, slap necrotic on it and use a magic weapon. This gives you the ability to clear rooms effectively and you are way more tanky than a pure mage.
