G4 materials aren't needed until level 39+. You mine them in Dark Space (past the locked warp path in deep faction space) or in the 3* systems in Origins space. At level 34 you can scrap maxed lvl 26 ships for a 4* refined mats return. Not sure on qty as I just go to 34 and am just a hair short on max D3. Thanks guys.

Dark space on my server is getting more crowded. So I used them quite a bit at 1st. At level 42 you get the warp boost through research that is available. Went back mainly to 3* faction miners. But still use the 4* when systems gets full. 4* miners are expensive to upgrade and repair but usefull. They give me more options to mine.
Kill Borg trader in Borg systems for Latium antique token. Refine this for lucrative trans warp token. These Borg traders normally spawn once every 4 hours in each Borg system.
