Feb 2, 2015 · As, for my personal tastes, I prefer one of the Leica M3’s many children, the Leica M7. The M7 is a camera so heavily styled on the Leica M3, the layman would barely tell them apart. Yet for my tastes and needs the few side steps the in design and function the M7 has when compared to the Leica M3 are ideal for me. The M7 does its best to get out of the way of the the photographer, it allows for quick decisions and fast action without patronising the user or overriding the his or hers actions with over simplification or over dumbing down of function. There is also a fringe benefit of this AE function in the Leica M7.The front of the Yashica MAT 124G contains both viewing and taking lenses. The shutter speed dial on right hand side, and aperture wheel on left. There is a threaded and lockable shutter button on bottom right side. There is a window on top of the viewing lens that shows selected aperture and shutter speed combination.Size & Weight. The Reveni Labs spot meter is just 71 x 30.5 x 38mm. It’s small enough to put in a pocket and hardly feel it’s there. It’s also really light weight at ~30g and so can be carried very comfortably on a lanyard.
