I'm doing the Ark quest right now and I'd especially love it for getting back to my farms, a lot of them aren't as close as I'd like them to be to the towers. I did get the underworld DLC as I wanted to support the developers a bit and also because I find the add on of fast traveling via campfires very , very useful for the main game. Took me a bit to complete the Underworld quest that enables this but totally worth it and I’ll probably go back to the DLCs later.
