Moonveil doesn't so much one-shot as insta-stagger a lot of enemies with the weapon art (the R2 version). A lot of tough enemies get staggered by one L2+R2 and then killed by the critical hit you can follow up with, and a good number of bosses get staggered in like two or three hits from it, too. You don't have to build around Moonveil at all which is why it's so particularly powerful for sorcery builds. Don't even have to push endurance because moonveil isn't heavy. Moonveil and wing of astel both fit perfectly into a sorcery build.
