Are you not earning after sometime after doing the search and the activities? This is most likely due to the recent changes for Microsoft Rewards which includes earning points including the cooldown system which affects activities as well.

Then when I purchased the game I wanted, the $25 gift card showed up on a line above my credit card info, and showed the balance that would hit my credit card after the $25 gift card, and voila!!

Note: Deleting history seems to have no effect. If you go on edge and in the settings on mobile choose "view desktop site" while on bing this counts as "PC searches" and if you change it back to "view mobile site" this will count for mobile searchs. I have done this the entirety of the last two weeks to get my max search points per day.
