There is a lot of older teachers who are not helpful at all, and they will be mean about it. But the professors for the Social work and CRMJ programs are so helpful and friendly.

This is the worst professor I have had at the University of Utah. His classes are boring and he takes extremely long to rewrite the same formulas that are on his slides. Textbook: N/A. Professor Huang is a moral and respectable individual. However, she was absent for half of the semester and canceled all of her lectures due to her "falling sick." Due to this, all her lectures were pre-recorded and the audio/visuals were very low quality, which made tests harder to prepare for.

Dr. Martines is awesome! She has a perfect blend of stories/jokes and teaching. Her homework and quizzes can be a little difficult, but if you can do them without any help the tests will be easy for you. If you have the opportunity, do yourself a favor and take her class for M427L. Professor Davis explains exactly what you need to do in order to do well In this class, and her chapter review sessions were very helpful. The lectures are given by Professor Hughes, and notes are already typed out for you. The notes are very long though, 10-30 pages per chapter, so I strongly recommend rewriting them to shorten them.

Most of the professors I had seemed to only care about their research and their research grant and did not seem to care if their students succeed. The dorms are so run down and old and have no social life within them (Middle Earth). The location is pretty bad, there's lots of homeless and bad drivers in the area. Sometimes there are homeless people chillin outside or in the parking garage.
