So i probably would have given up and gotten a Mazda CX-5. Subaru Forrester. The main reason I got the RAV4 over the Forrester is cause I got it to 5k. I really like Toyota as a company and love my RAV4 but in my place of life right not money decides not the heart.From my point of view, the "equivalent" technology packages will bring the total price of the XLE Premium up to $40100 and the XSE $41200 (so roughly a $1000 difference). Except the price it’s an absolute joke would’ve been happy if they increased something but they copy and pasted the same car point to point and slapped a 1000 dollar charge on it bought a 2023 rav 4 XSE tech back in December of 22 so hoping to get the 2024 XSE tech soon. The RAV4 interior is a lot more "basic" than the CR-V. It's well done and it looks decent, but it's far from the luxury look of the CR-V. It has more space inside, at least visually speaking, I didn't measure anything. The visibility is much better and the transmission is so, so much better than the Honda.

The RAV4’s suspension is definitely more rigid but tbh I don’t really notice it as much as I thought I would coming from the Camry. Other than the suspension, the steering on the Rav4 is really smooth and it takes corners like a champ.

Also, storage capacity looks limited by that sloping roof. Hope the styling reverts back to the previous, less boxy generation. The Camry will debut this summer (2023) after the new Tacoma not in 2024. Camry will be a 2024 MY. Toyota never changes much so don't expect much.

Nothings changed for the 22 model as far as sound deadening goes. It’s a fairly noisy cabin with a fairly noisy engine. Like people have stated before you need to step up to the Venza or a Lexus to have a quieter ride. If you’re coming from a five or 10 year old vehicle it’s going to be pretty quiet to you. [deleted]
