Mar 7, 2023 · As a Diamond member and frequent visitor to the Hilton Waikoloa, I need to comment and rate our Feb, 2023 visit. We have stayed at this property 15-20 times since the early 90's when it started as a Hyatt Regency. Over the years we have seen many good changes/things and during our Feb, 2023 many, not so good changes/things.

No beach, but several pools and a dolphin experience. The rooms are large and well-equipped. Our check-in was annoying - no room available, and the promised call when ready never came. The Hilton Waikoloa is a very nice resort, however the distance to walk to get around to the beaches from an ocean view room leaves a little bit to be desired. The resort could use better accesses for people in wheelchairs or with handicap means having a room on the third floor with an ocean view was absolutely fabulous.

One is an adults only pool located in the interior of the Ocean Tower, the other is in front of the Ocean Tower and the other at the other end of the resort near the Lagoon Tower.
